Ad Design

The design challenge for the Trashy Bags Africa ad campaign project encompassed developing creative concepts and messaging for advertisements that showcase different product offerings while emphasizing the brand’s commitment to environmental responsibility and social change.

The ad design process began with research into Trashy Bags Africa’s mission, values, and product offerings. 

Drawing inspiration from the brand’s commitment to sustainability and community empowerment, three distinct advertisements were created, each highlighting a different product line – reusable shopping bags, toiletry bags, and pencil pouches. The ad copy, “let your [activity] do a world of good,” paired with a recycle symbol as a period, conveyed the message of environmental stewardship and social responsibility.

The culmination of the ad design process resulted in a series of impactful advertisements that effectively communicated Trashy Bags Africa’s brand values and product offerings. Placed in various mockup settings, including subway stations, city billboards, Instagram, and Spotify ads, the ads reached a diverse audience across different platforms, maximizing visibility and engagement.

The creative execution of the ad campaign successfully showcased Trashy Bags Africa’s commitment to sustainability and social impact, resonating with environmentally conscious consumers who seek to make a positive difference through their purchasing decisions. By highlighting the versatility and eco-friendly attributes of its upcycled bags, Trashy Bags Africa continues to inspire individuals to embrace sustainable living and support communities in need.
